Drink The Poison Lightly

Zane and I had some errands to run this morning. We drove to Portland [about an hour away], to a shoe store that has a contract with his company. He got some new boots, then got some “protection” stuff that they had to put on there and it takes 24 hours to dry, so he has to go back and get them tomorrow.
We went to Rite Aid to get some random stuff [and waste time].
We went to his work because he took home the work truck keys last night and he had to return them. He did some other stuff too, but I sat in the car and read.
After we were done with everything, we went to lunch with Zane’s brother Thomas. I had a pulled pork sandwich, and it was Delicious! :] I may complain about him a lot, but lately I’ve come to realize that when we’re not at home with him, he’s a fun guy. But when we’re at home, he’s a jackass.

I read more on the way home, and I’m getting frustrated with my book. I love it, I absolutely love it, but it’s frustrating me. 

When we got home, the dogs went nuts, like always… I don’t know why, but Dexter always trying to attack Roxie whenever someone comes in the door. He’s not being MEAN, but he’s a little feistier than just playing.. So today, I tried to get him away from her, and he jumped on my leg like a cat would, and drug his claws down my skin.. OUCH! It’s not the worst looking of the scrapes he’s given me, but it hurts most. :/

It’s been a long weekend. I finally got some sleep last night. Now i’m up, and getting ready to go hang out with some Awesome boys, known as “The Maine” woohoo!

The restaurant where Zane’s work’s Christmas Party was has such awesome chandeliers. I wanted to take a picture, but I didn’t, and now I’m kinda mad that I didn’t.

Just spent about 2 hours lost in this bad boy!

His name is Kyron Horman. He turned 8 last week. Kyron, originally from Oregon, has been missing for 3 months now, and his parents are convinced he’s still alive. They feel it in their hearts. Not only is it tragic that someone would be so heartless to want to harm this precious boy and his family, but now the police and the family suspect that the person behind this cruel and inhumane act is Kyron’s step mother. She won’t talk to anyone. She won’t tell the family what she knows. Please spread this, because my heart is absolutely broken right now for this boy and his family. Kyron, you’re in my prayers. This boy’s hometown is less than an hour away from mine. I feel bad believing he is dead, but it’s probably true. :[ I hope they find him, I hope they find him alive. But even if they don’t, at least his family would know. 

Also, this picture is old. he looks to be 4 or 5. It is mis-leading to people who don’t live around here and see his picture everywhere everyday. 

This is Kyron. He is 8 years old. His family needs an answer.

This was really entertaining.  Tim went and pulled Garrett around the venue.  They had shot confetti or whatever it’s called during their set and he was just riding around on it.  Until Tim let go and Garrett flew into the ground.

It was an awesome show, although it was WAY too hot. I don’t understand why Venues in Portland don’t get A/C. I mean the workers get just as hot as everyone else. It gets brutal in there sometimes. Last night was one of those times.

I got to meet everyone. Again. Well, Austin Gibbs was a first timer. So were DIRK MAI and TIM KIRCH! Oh, I was SO happy to meet them! But everyone else I have met before. This Century. Nathaniel Moon from Fairline/Foto:Graph. and The Maine. Got pictures with EVERYONE, but they’re on my sister’s camera, so I’ll post them when I get them. Well, everyone but The Maine, since Hawthorne made them stand behind a baracade. So Stupid. 

Overall it was an awesome show. Austin was DRUNK afterward. John was drunk on stage. It was really an amazing night.

Can I just mention again how excited I am that I finally met Tim! :] And meeting Dirk was an added unexpected major bonus!!

Poor Kid. :/

I’ve been following this on msnbc. I really hope they find this sweet boy alive. and soon.

It breaks my fucking heart that I’m going to sleep right now on a comfortable bed and this poor helpless child is probably God forbid in a disgusting shithole. I hope he gets home soon. If you can reblog dumbass Mean Girls quotes or Lady Gaga shit then this shouldn’t be any different.
